We’re proud to announce that Demcon management & support has officially obtained the ISO 27001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for information security. Although we have long been working in accordance with this standard, the certification marks an important milestone: our structured, consistent, and demonstrable approach to safeguarding information is now formally validated.

Our CEO, Dennis Schipper, was recently interviewed for the latest edition of LINK Magazine. This edition focuses on diversification, a theme that Demcon has always actively worked on and that remains relevant today. In the interview, Dennis shares his perspective on the importance of diversification, both for Demcon and on a national and international level.

When Jasmijn first walked into Demcon, she didn’t yet know which direction she wanted to take. With a degree in Biomedical Engineering but few clearly defined biomedical engineering roles outside the academic world, the job search in the Twente region felt limited. Still, she found exactly what she needed at Demcon: space to explore, to grow, and to shape her own path.

Technology developer and producer Demcon further expands its technological capabilities with the introduction of Leap Development into the Demcon group. The company will continue its activities under the banner of Demcon electronics. The Deventer-based organization specializes in RF technology, wireless communication, embedded systems and integrated electronics development. With this latest addition, the Demcon group now has a specialized company that is dedicated entirely to electronics development projects and has state-of-the-art testing facilities.

Curix, part of the Demcon group, is developing groundbreaking technology for the treatment of life-threatening and debilitating neurological diseases. This new technology makes it possible to temporarily open the blood-brain barrier, addressing one of the biggest challenges in neurology. With this technology, drugs for brain tumors and neurodegenerative conditions, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, can be delivered more efficiently. The participation of Twinning Participaties allows Curix to develop an injector system suitable for initial clinical studies in humans. “Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of improved treatments for neurological diseases”, says Peter Frinking, managing director and chief scientific officer at Curix.
