water & maritime.

Humans cannot live without water, but must also protect themselves against it. The sea level is rising and clean (drinking) water threatens to become scarce. We develop monitoring and (autonomous) inspection platforms and systems for the water itself and for use on water. We use our expertise in mechatronics, sensors, analysis and intelligent control technology for this purpose.

autonomous inspection, intelligent analysis.

The challenges in the world of water – maritime and drinking water – are enormous. There are increasingly more inspection, surveying and maintenance tasks to be performed on water that must be carried out safely and efficiently. The (drinking) water supply is affected by drought, pollution and inadequate maintenance; this requires smart quality monitoring solutions. We develop inspection and monitoring systems that can operate autonomously and/or unmanned. We build robust hardware, intelligent operating systems and smart algorithms for this purpose.

True to the theme, he cycled all the way from the provincial government building in Zwolle to our headquarters in Enschede. During his visit, he interviewed Emma van Geel (Manager Corporate Sustainability) and Mika Bakker (Communications Specialist). You can read the result below.
