needle placement system

Medical interventions are increasingly minimally invasive. This reduces the chance of complications and accelerates the patient’s recovery. We develop high-tech solutions for this purpose that make the intervention more effective and efficient. We combine our knowledge of mechatronics and medical workflows to design and produce innovative interventional systems.
Internal diagnostics, therapy and surgery often constitute a heavy burden on patients, in part due to the large incisions. Minimally invasive interventions provide an alternative. A physician can continue to use instruments, such as surgical pincers, needles and hoses. However, advanced technology makes far more accurate control possible and therefore more effective, while maintaining the trusted workflow. We develop mechatronics solutions for minimally invasive interventions, for example based on robotics. We also build medically certified interventional systems.
We apply our broad mechatronics expertise for minimally invasive interventions. These are more precise than conventional interventions and reduce the chance of an annoying aftermath due to a surgical wound infection or an incisional hernia. Our systems make a more efficient and patient-friendly intervention possible. That results in faster recovery and offers prospects for numerous patients.
