Technology and materials science continue to steadily progress. We make use of this in solving complex, multidisciplinary problems. Ultra-high vacuum

Many high-tech systems use (ultra-high) vacuum to enable sensitive processes to run optimally, for example without disturbance due to contamination. However, a vacuum entails special challenges, such as outgassing, bearings, sealing, cooling and clean working. Building onto our semiconductor experience, we develop (ultra-high) vacuum solutions for all kinds of applications.

Thin film technology

Researchers are achieving spectacular results in the laboratory with thin-film technology for innovative material applications.

Thermal management

Thermal effects determine the quality and accuracy of numerous high-tech systems and processes. We manage these thermal conditions with efficient cooling or heating and effective control systems. We do this on the basis of our specific physical knowledge, our extensive experience with model design, test set-ups and our own products, such as cryogenic microcoolers.

Semiconductors

Moore’s law continues to dictate the pace of the semiconductor industry. We develop mechatronics solutions.

Qualification

We draw on our broad mechatronics expertise and experience for designing and building qualification equipment.

Metrology

We develop and build metrology systems, such as measuring machines, optical scanners and automated inspection stations.

Inspection

We build efficient inspection systems that are frequently vision-based, for high-volume production.

Handling

We develop efficient solutions for the controlled handling of these products at high speeds, while retaining quality.

Analytical

We use our optomechatronics expertise to develop precision instruments. We also contribute to innovating the analytical process flow.

Additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing (3D printing) offers manufacturers unprecedented design freedom. This creativity must be translated.

Demcon has succesfully acquired the international standard for information security, iso 27001

Demcon achieves ISO 27001 certification.

We’re proud to announce that Demcon management & support has officially obtained the ISO 27001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for information security. Although we have long been working in accordance with this standard, the certification marks an important milestone: our structured, consistent, and demonstrable approach to safeguarding information is now formally validated.

What started as a simple internship ended up shaping the course of Daan’s education and career. During his secondary vocational education in mechatronics, Daan took an orientation internship at Demcon, working on prototyping. That experience became a turning point.

Sustainability at Demcon: not a project, but a way of working

Last summer, we were visited by Douwe de Vries, a reporter from Overijssel Onderweg. Throughout the season, he toured several companies in the province to learn about their sustainable mobility policies.
